Siren's Song by Jill Buckley
Siren's Song was created as a guild "challenge" piece for our 2007 -2008 season. Each guild member was given a fat quarter of Laurel Burch's Ocean Song.
We could add anything we liked to that fabric and make a quilted item of our choice. (size was the only restriction)
The techniques used are, top stitched curved piecing, hand applique, fused applique, machine embroidery & beading.
Original art work and machine quilting by myself.
