Jewels of the Desert by Linda St Andre
I was inspired by a friend's quilt which she saw in a Kaffe Fasset book. I collected beiige fabrics for several years and finally got to work on it at our guild quilt retreat. It sat unfinished until this fall when Carol Doak's paper piecing method got me started again. The medallion in the center is a Carol Doak design. I free motion quilted this one to look like sand dunes in the desert.
