The technique used for Earthbound is top stitch curved piecing.It measures 52" x 38". Earthbound was accepted into The Grand National Quilt Exhibit 2008.
The image is my own artwork and was entirely machine quilted by myself. In keeping with the environmental message of this piece I included all of the "garbage" on the back. The leftover bits of fabric and paper were scattered across the back, covered with a sheer fabric before the machine quilting process.
