My First Quilt
I just began to learn to quilt in February. I took a beginner class to make a 12" block. I got so excited that I began using Judy Hopkin's Around the Block book and making bunches of 12" blocks. With my cousin helping me along, I eventually made a 6 foot, 25 block sampler! The photo is just the top, it's currently off being quilted together by Madeleine Vail in CO. (I couldn't handle a 6' quilt for my first machine quilting project!)
