A few years ago our now disbanded quilt group did some block exchanges. I gave everyone patterns from "Grandma's Best Full Size Quilt Blocks" to work with for our flowers/butterflies exchange.
The center flower is one of the blocks I received (sorry I don't remember who made that part.). This year I made the block smaller and added all the borders. This was also my first attempt at prairie points as an edging. The flowery fabric was used to tie all the colors together. This was also one of my first attempts at free form quilting.
