Christmas Star Wall Hanging
I made this quilt as part of a beginner quilting class held at my local Creative Sewing Center. I didn't want to do the traditional (suggested) Christmas colors, but wasn't sure that I could stray too far from the instructions. I chose the pinks and greens hoping that I could walk a fine line between them.
I learned how to piece, sandwich, multiple ways of quilting (stitch-in-the-ditch? not very good at that) and sew on binding. It was a great learning experience.
